The popular Florida-based Xtreme Fighting Championships - a fast-rising MMA promotion that averages approximately 10,000 fans for each of its fan friendly shows - returns to HDNet on July 9 for "XFC 11: The Next Generation."

The event takes place at the St. Pete Times Forum in Tampa and airs live on the cable station.

WEC and DREAM veteran Micah Miller meets fellow featherweight Bruce Connors in the headliner, and Kim Couture takes on 135-pound newcomer Marianna Kheyfets in the co-headliner.

not competing under the UFC banner.

But after Pyle finally made his way to the UFC in 2009 following stops

Xtreme Power Television’s Host Jay Adams Extends Viewership for Powerlifting

Fox Sports Brawl Call host Jay Adams has extended the viewership of his new show, Xtreme Power Television, to an additional 30+ million viewers. At 2:21 in the following clip, Adams states that "and now of course with the folks over at Fox Sports Net-and we're picking up another network by the way-which will be just a little bit under 35 million more viewers. 35 million. And that will be of course for Xtreme Power TV. Its really getting exciting..."

Adams, one of the most prolific commentators in the MMA business, brings an audience of 24 million viewers-via Fox Sports Net-to Xtreme Power Television. In picking up the additional network, the viewership for XPTV will be extended to a total of around 60 million.

Xtreme Power Television has already filmed footage at last month's Europa in Orlando, and will be in Tampa at the Jackson Springs Recreation Center on June 20th for the R.A.W. United Mike Witmer Memorial meet.

Cooperation with Meet Dates

In order to resolve a conflict with a competing federation's meet, Lexen Xtreme's Dan Dague has moved the date for the IPA Lexen Xtreme Ohio State Championships in Hilliard, Ohio from April 24 to July 10.

The Iron House Classic, formerly an IPA meet, now SPF sanctioned, is also scheduled for April 24 in Columbus, Ohio.
