All 14 Bellator 29 fighters took part in Wednesday's official weigh-ins, and two competitors missed weight.

Main-card fighter Jameel Massouh (142 pounds) missed the limit for his 140-pound catchweight fight, and preliminary-card fighter Jason Guida (215) was heavy for his 210-pound catchweight bout.

The night's co-headliners, who are Bellator's season-three heavyweight-tournament semifinalists, all made weight without incident.

LOS ANGELES - Prior to Wednesday night, two years and two days had passed since former
EliteXC lightweight champion K.J. Noons had fought in
front of an American TV audience.

But for most of the "Strikeforce: Los Angeles" fight, Noons looked like he hadn't lost a step despite a
recent 21-month layoff from competition.

Now Noons is anxious to prove that theory, and it appears a second
meeting with current Strikeforce welterweight champion Nick Diaz is a
near certainty. And then there's the small matter of the
three titles Noons wants to pin down.

LOS ANGELES - Strikeforce's third trip to the City of Angels was short
and sweet.

unconventionally on the stage of Los Angeles' Nokia Theatre, drew a reported
5,259 paid attendees.

Strikeforce CEO Scott Coker announced the figure at the post-event press
conference while reporting a live gate of $418,061.

Perhaps a little controversy isn't necessarily a bad thing.

While "The Ultimate Fighter 11" coach Tito Ortiz found himself in jail
earlier this week after domestic dispute accusations, Wednesday night's
episode of the Spike TV series earned one of the best ratings of the
season.

Spike TV officials today reported that episode No. 5 of "TUF 11" earned
an average audience of 1.8 million viewers and edged out Wednesday's NBA
playoff game between the Milwaukee Bucks and the Atlanta Hawks with a
2.6 rating with males ages 18-34.
