Weigh-ins for the UFC's first-ever Massachusetts event are slated for Aug. 27.

The "UFC 118: Edgar vs. Penn II" weigh-ins take place at the TD Garden in Boston, which is the same venue that hosts the following day's pay-per-view event.

Doors are expected to open at 6 p.m. ET (3 p.m. PT), and the first fighter hits the scale at 7 p.m. ET.

Officials from EnergySolutions Arena in Salt Lake City have canceled their hosting duties for UFC on Versus 2, and the Aug. 1 event now could be headed to San Diego.

The Utah venue's Web site lists the previously announced event as "canceled," and according to a report from Heavy.com, the show is now San Diego bound.

However, sources close to the event told MMAjunkie.com the move isn't official and that discussions are ongoing.

Fans attending Wednesday's Bellator 14 fighter weigh-ins and press conference take note: the venue has changed.

Bellator officials on Tuesday announced that the combined event, which is open to fans and media like, has been moved from the Hotel Sax to the Chicago Theatre in Illinois.

The same venue hosts Thursday's Bellator 14 event, which airs live on FOX Sports Net.

Although the makeshift venue reportedly will be torn down on Monday, Concert Arena on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, provided a financial windfall for the UFC coffers.

The outdoor venue hosted Saturday's pay-per-view event and drew an attendance of 11,008 for an estimated live gate of $3.5 million.

The UFC shared the figures during the night's post-fight press conference.
