May 1 & 2 in California: 3rd American Cup BJJ Tournament

The creators of the US Open, Claudio Franca Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, are honored to announce the 3rd American Cup Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Tournament.

On Saturday, May 1, 2010 the first day of the tournament, is exclusively for kids year born 1995 – 2006 and purple belt ranks of all weights. The cost for kids early registration until Thursday April 22nd is $50.00. From April 23-26, 2010, registration changes to $65.00.

On Sunday May 2, 2010 the second day of the tournament, will be for competitors in the Juvenile, Adult, Master, Senior I, Senior II and Female Age Divisions of white, blue, brown, and black belt rankings. The cost of early registration for Juveniles, Adults, Masters, Seniors and Females until Thursday April 22nd is $65.00. From April 23 – 26, 2010, registration changes to $80.00.

March 27 in South Carolina: Chris Haueter Seminar

Chris is a Rigan Machado 4th degree Black Belt.

$60 for one session, $80 for both.

Chris served on the Machado USA competition team as a coach and competitor. In addition to many colored belt victories, in 1997 he placed 2nd at the Pan American Invitational and took 1st at the US Open and the Joe Moreria Open, as a black belt. Additionally, he is the first American black belt to have competed in the Mundial de Jiu-jitsu, the world championship event held each year in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He has numerous Super Fight victories.
