Grappling experts Leonardo Santos and Sotaro Yamada will clash at Sengoku Raiden Championship 14.

The promotion today announced the new matchup, bringing the fight card to a total of 11 bouts.

Featuring a middleweight title fight rematch between current champion
Jorge Santiago and top challenger Kazuo Misaki, Sengoku Raiden
Championship 14 takes place Aug. 22 at Ryogoku Kokugikan in Tokyo.

We are holding our second week-long camp of 2010–and our second in Toronto–at MECCA MMA in Toronto, ON, Canada. The camp will run from Monday, August 23rd through Friday, August 27th, 2010. Just like last year’s camp in Toronto, it will be held after the second annual Grapple Girls Open women’s grappling tournament. Campers receive a discount on tournament registration!
The cost of the camp is only $550 for five full days of instruction and discussions, or $375 for three full days, plus a Sunday night social event and optional open mats.

US Grappling Hampton will be held on Saturday, October 16, 2010 at the Boo Williams Sportsplex in Hampton, VA. The venue is located just minutes off of I-64, at Armistead Avenue.

Registration is now open!

Saturday weigh ins will be held from 8 AM to 9:30 AM for anyone competing in no gi divisions, and will be extended to noon for anyone that will only be competing in the gi. Competitors can also register and weigh in Friday night from 6-8 PM at the venue. Competitors do not need to wear the gi during weigh ins.

State Line Grappling Championships is back! SLGC 2 will be at the Bristol Racquet & Fitness Club in Bristol, TN on Saturday, September 18, 2010.

This is a no gi submission grappling tournament using modified US Grappling rules. Adult divisions have 3 skill divisions – beginner (less than 1 year), intermediate (1 year to 3 years), and advanced (over 3 years).
