Seems like UFC fighter Mike Swick has more than just mixed martial arts talent. The welterweight fighter is currently heading into the third day of a World Series of Poker event, and stands to make some considerable money if he wins the event, as he told everyone via facebook:

We are finished for the night & going to Day 3. 25 players remain out of 2,521 that started. I am sitting in 20th place. 24 people between me and the $604k for 1st! Thanks for all the support! I plan to bring these guys a fight tomorrow! If your around the Rio, we start playing in the Amazon room at 2:30pm. I am at table #306.

Wow Swick should be in the money no matter what but the $604k payout would be huge. Good luck to Mike Swick and bad beats to your opponents.

Memorial Day, originally called Decoration Day, is a day of remembrance for those who have died in our nation's service. Sometime today, amidst the grilling and hanging out, I would ask that you all remember the fallen that have paid the ultimate price so that you can have and live in the very freedom that you enjoy today and everyday living in the United States of America. If you would like to pay your respects to someone that you know in the military, then feel free to do that in this thread. For me, this means remembering my grandfather William H. Handley, Danny Dietz, and Michael Murphy.
