A source close to the event told MMAjunkie.com the fighters have agreed to the Sept. 23 matchup but that bout agreements haven't been signed.
Horn, who makes his Bellator debut in his 111th career fight, posted the news via Facebook but mistakenly referred to a Sept. 28 date.

Quinton "Rampage" Jackson and Antonio Rogerio Nogueira have agreed to meet in an upcoming light-heavyweight superfight, though an exact date hasn't been decided for the bout.
Sources close to the competitors told MMAjunkie.com verbal agreements are in place but that bout agreements have not been distributed.
And though the fight would appear a perfect headliner for September's UFC 119 event, a source said October UFC 120 or UFC 121 slots are also possibilities.

UFC light heavyweight fighter Stephan Bonnar’s quest to defeat southpaw fighter Krzysztof Soszynski continues this Saturday at UFC 116: Lesnar vs. Carwin and Bonnar thinks the fight will be similar to the first time. Well not exactly similar, in that a accidental headbutt opened a cut that ended the bout for Bonnar at UFC 110, which then saw the judges awarding the bout to Soszynski. Bonner seems ready for the rematch as he spoke of how he thought things would go down, via UFC.com:
“I’ve watched the first fight a bunch of times, and I definitely see the rematch being something similar. I did pretty well the first couple of minutes, and felt I got off to a solid enough start. I think my hands and defence could have been a little better as the fight went on, though. I got a little sloppy in places, and allowed Krzysztof to get off with some shots. I need to move my head a bit more in the rematch and not be static so much and in range of punches. I’m aiming to not get hit quite so much by his power-punches this time around. Preparing to face an opponent I’ve already fought is definitely a positive, as I’m already familiar with Krzysztof’s style and know what he’s all about. I’ve already spent nearly three rounds in his company, so I have a good idea of what he can and can’t do by this stage. I’m not going in there blind.”
UFC 116 will feature a heavyweight title matchup between Brock Lesnar and Shane Carwin and will also feature Chris Leben taking over for injured Wanderlei Silva as he faces Sexyama.
Heavyweight Championship bout: Brock Lesnar vs Shane Carwin
Middleweight bout: Yoshihiro Akiyama vs. Chris Leben
Welterweight bout: Chris Lytle vs. Matt Brown
Light Heavyweight bout: Krzysztof Soszynski vs. Stephan Bonnar
Lightweight bout: George Sotiropoulos vs. Kurt Pellegrino

Heavyweight bout: Brendan Schaub vs. Chris Tuchscherer
Light Heavyweight bout: Seth Petruzelli vs. Ricardo Romero

One would think that with Eddie Wineland riding a
three-fight win streak going into his main-card bout with Will Campuzano
at this past Sunday's WEC 49 event, the last thing the former
bantamweight champion would feel is pressure.
However, to hear him discuss the fight recently on MMAjunkie.com Radio, "it was a much-needed win."
Wineland delivered the goods and also claimed a "Knockout of the Night" bonus in the process. Now the Indiana resident said his killer instinct is back, and he's closing in on a second chance at the belt.

Number one light heavyweight contender Rashad Evans has never been much appreciated by MMA fans, and while he`s not a heel of the calibre of Josh Koscheck there`s a large contingency of booing whenever the former TUF competitor enters the Octagon. The boos were never louder than during and after his bout with Quentin `Rampage`Jackson and it seems that they might be getting to him, though his own words suggest otherwise(via fighthype)
`… I give up on these fans man. I’m not going to be like, ‘Man, I don’t know why these guys don’t like me.’ If they don’t like me, they don’t like me. I’m to the point where I don’t care. I went back to my wrestling for the last 2 fights, but before that, I was standing and banging and trying to do shit to please them. But because I went back to my wrestling in my last 2 fights, they got a problem with that. Even for the Rampage fight, I did some takedowns, but for the most part, I wasn’t holding nobody down in a stagnant position to where they had to stand us back up.
Like it or not, Rashad won his bout against Jackson at UFC 114 and is now waiting for Mauricio`Shogun` Rua to heal from his injuries so the two can meet for the UFC light heavyweight title. Just don`t expect the booing to stop any time soon.
