Heading into the main event of UFC 110, many MMA experts pointed to the suspect power of heavyweight Cain Velasquez and the legendary chin of Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira as a reason "Big Nog" would eventually defeat his much-younger opponent.

Many MMA experts were horribly wrong.

Instead, Velasquez destroyed Nogueira on the feet in less than one-half
of a round in the main event of "UFC 110: Nogueira vs. Velasquez" at
Acer Arena in Sydney, Australia.

The “UFC 110: Nogueira vs. Velasquez” event taking is place at Acer Arena in Sydney, Australia with heavyweights Antonio Rodrigo Nogieira vs. Cain Velasquez facing one another in a bout that may determine the champ Brock Lesnar’s next opponent. In the co-main event, middleweights Michael Bisping vs. Wanderlei Silva square off in a match that could seriously effect either fighters future.

With the success of this weekend's UFC 110 event - including a ticket sellout on the first day of sales - the Ultimate Fighting Championship plans to make Australia an annual destination.

The promotion makes its Australian debut with tonight's UFC 110 event at Acer Arena in Sydney, Australia.

UFC president Dana White, though, said it'll be the first of many.
